Two military companies, the U.S. received a parcel with explosives

March 26 at Fort Belvoir (VA) and Fort McNair (Washington) within a few hours received a suspicious package, CNN reports.

The first of these was delivered at 8:30 a.m. in the University of national defense (The National Defense University), which is located on the site of Fort McNair. The personnel noticed a suspicious object, call the experts-bomb experts. The building, which found a dangerous package, was quickly evacuated. The analysis confirmed that inside of the package contains an explosive substance and an electronic GPS-transmitter. The suspected bomb was moved to a secure container and handed over for examination to the FBI lab.

A second suspicious package was discovered on the territory of the garrison Fort Belvoir, about 12 hours a day. The call was responded to the bomb squad unit 52 of the US army. They also confirmed that the third-party object contains black powder, and electronic components. The parcel was disposed of and sent for examination. In both cases no one was hurt.

Bomb experts examined the perimeter of military facilities on the territory of which were found potentially dangerous parcels, and other threats discovered. The FBI began an investigation.
