In Los Angeles the teenager fell into the waste manifold and survived, staying there for 12 hours

After 12 hours of searching safely found 13-year-old Jessie Hernandez, who fell into the sewer during the celebration of Easter in Griffith Park (Los Angeles).

As told in the fire Department of the city, yesterday, April 1, the family of Jesse come to the Park on Easter hunting for eggs. At some point the boy decided to jump on temporary wooden planks over a drainage system in the old building — Board fell from under him, and he from a height of 25 feet and fell into the reservoir with a strong current, carrying sewage to the river.

Jesse searched dozens of rescuers, police officers and employees of the sanitary Department. In the end, alive and well, he was found a mile from where he fell into the reservoir.

«Frankly, we thought it was a miracle,’ said captain Eric Scott. — In the place of the manifold was quite wide so that he could stand and more or less breathe normally».

The teenager was taken to hospital, where he was waiting for relatives.
