Dead comedian Verne Troyer

At the age of 49 years died an American actor, stand-up comedian and stuntman Verne Troyer, famous for his roles in the films about Austin Powers. The deceased played in a series of comedies, Mini-me (Mini-me) clone of Dr. Evil.

The troyer was connected to life support since early April after he was hospitalized in connection with alcohol poisoning and suicide attempt. The family were able to baptize him just before death — a ceremony was held in a medical facility.

«With great sadness and a heavy heart compelled to write today that Vern passed away. He was incredibly responsive, wanted to make everyone smile, laugh and be happy…», — wrote to his representatives on the page in Facebook

The deceased suffered from alcoholism — several times he had stopped drinking, but again were broken. The actor was one of the smallest people on the planet — his height was only 80 cm.

The troyer born January 1, 1969 and made his film debut in 25 years as a backup 9-month-old baby in the film «Baby’s day out». After that he played cameo role in several movies, including «Men in Black» and «Fear and loathing in Las Vegas», but the real fame he brought the second part about the Austin powers «the Spy who shagged me».

In 2004, the deceased was married to actress Genevieve Gallen, but the marriage was annulled the next day.
