Sad news came from Ohio. A resident of Wycliff as a result of careless handling of weapons mortally wounded his little daughter.
According to local law enforcement, later in the evening of 20 April from hotel Econo Lodge Wickliffe , 911 received a call — woman in panic tried to explain to the dispatcher that she killed her daughter. According to the caller, examining the weapon, she inadvertently dropped the gun, and he lay on the floor, shot.
«He was on guardwhen I dropped the gun and heard a shot. The gun fell, I dropped my weapon! It is no more! My baby’s gone, she’s not breathing, she’s dead!» — sobbed into the phone woman.
The bullet hit 2-year-old girl right in the chest. Urgently the child was hospitalized to the nearest hospital, but to save, unfortunately, failed. The girl died without regaining consciousness.
The mother of the deceased girl, whose name was not disclosed, had a license to carry concealed weapons and owned a gun for legitimate reasons. Police have classified the incident as an accident, the version with the premeditated murder is not considered.
At the same time, according to detectives, there are still some uncertainties, the clarification of which should shed light on the tragedy. First, whether a gun was on guardwhen the shot was fired? Second, for some reason, the girl’s mother was made of the action of weapons in the vicinity ?
