Shooting in a Texas school (updated)

The school district confirmed a report of a shooting in high school Texas.

According to state police, the shooting occurred today (may 18) at around 8 a.m. in the city of Santa Fe, which is near Houston. At the moment, the area around the school is blocked.

The representative of the County of Galveston, major Douglas Hudson, said that his unit was oreagiroval the call.

One of the students told a local television station KTRKthat during the first lesson in her class a man entered with a gun and started shooting. She also reported that she saw a girl with blood on her leg during the evacuation. According to the eyewitnesses, the students rushed out the back door.

Neither the school district nor the state government has not yet confirmed this information.
