Became known the name of 17-year-old suspect in a school shooting in Texas

At least 10 people were killed and 10 were wounded in a shooting Friday morning at a high school in Santa Fe (Texas). According to police, nine of those killed were students, one of the victims is a teacher.

Reported to ABC 13, police were called to the school around 8 a.m. after reports of gunshots.
The suspect was armed with a rifle AR-15, pistol and shotgun. Police also reported explosive devices in the school and on campus. The school was evacuated at the time of their disposal.

The shooter was arrested, the suspect is a 17-year-old Dimitrios Phorcys. Classmates told the media that the guy was the object of ridicule of other students and coaches kept to themselves.

Another suspect being questioned in connection with the incident.

Santa Fe is 30 miles (48 km) South-East of Houston. With the beginning of 2018, more than 30 people were killed and over 40 were injured in a school shooting.

This year there were 16 incidents involving the use of firearms on campus.
