California drowned 19-month-old daughter of Olympic medalist

Little daughter Olympic skier and children Bode Miller and volleyball player Morgan Beck tragically died last weekend.

On Saturday evening, the Miller family was at the party of a neighbor, when suddenly a 19-month Emeline disappeared. Mother and a neighbor went in search of the baby. Soon they found Amy in the pool. Morgan immediately jumped in after it, pulled out of the water and together with other guests tried to revive the child until the arrival of the ambulance.

On arrival the representatives of emergency services and Orange County Fire did artificial breath and indirect massage of heart. After that, the baby was urgently taken to Mission Hospital, but she was in critical condition and died on Sunday evening.

The following day, Miller posted on his page in Instagram pictures from the Emmys, which was named in honor of her grandmother, with words about the loss.

«We are terribly devastated. Our girl, Amy, died yesterday. Never in my life we never thought I will experience that kind of pain, — is spoken in the recording. — Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten.»

40-year-old Bode Miller is the most decorated skier in US. Athlete 33 times won the world Cup and 4 times in world Championships, has two of the absolute champion titles and six Olympic medals, including gold, which he received in 2010 in Vancouver. In 2014, in Sochi , he became the oldest Alpine skier, who at age 36 has won a medal.

Bode and his wife, volleyball player and model Morgan Beck, are expecting a child now that needs to be born in October. Before the death of Emmy the athlete had four children.
