The family living in forest Park (state of GA), occurred a tragedy: a dog killed their 5-month-old daughter.
Sergeant County police Clayton Ashanti Marbury said that on Tuesday (June 12) evening, a German shepherd mauled Paige George in a house on Watts Road in the town of forest Park South of Atlanta.
Relatives still can not believe what happened, especially because the animal was with the girl since her birth.

According to the police, that night the man who has long been friends with the girl’s family, looking after Paige. He told police that the child was put to bed in one of the bedrooms in his house and then fell asleep himself in another room.
A few hours later, around 3 a.m., the girl’s mother, TERIK Georgereturned home and found the tormented daughter. She called the police and, crying, tried to explain that a German shepherd attacked her daughter, according to police.
According to the grieving mother, the dog is always friendly towards all members of her family, including baby Paige.
«He ate with us, he slept with us, he followed us, and sometimes I planted it (Paige — approx. USA.one) in the car seat, and he came and checked if everything was okay, and went,» admitted TERIK Channel 2.
According to police, the man, nursing the girl, was not charged, but the dog had to be put down.
Dogs, including Pets, are often the cause of death of children. For example, in the late spring in Florida 8-month-old baby was killed by a pit bull her family.
