On Sunday, the explosion of a boat off the coast of Exuma (Bahamas), 9 people were injured and 1 was killed. All on Board were 12 passengers, 10 of them Americans.
Superintendent Shanta Knowles confirmed in an interview with NBC News that the deceased were American, but her identity is not disclosed until, about the incident not notified the woman’s family. Four wounded were taken to the hospital Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg (Florida), five others in Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau (the Bahamas). According to Knowles, the authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the explosion.
At the moment, the names and condition of other passengers is not reported. Police are investigating the incident.
