The American dancer legs were amputated after a tourist boat blew up in the Bahamas. The girl is now in a medically induced coma, her condition doctors evaluated as «critical».
22-year-old Stephanie Shaffer vacationing in the Bahamas with his family when a tourist boat exploded last weekend off the coast of Exuma. Militiamen find out the cause of the explosion. Just the explosion injured 9 people, killing one American, whose identity is not yet established.
Now Stephanie Shaffer, a resident of Vermont and a graduate of Coastal Carolina University is in hospital in the Bahamas.
One of the relatives of the girl said that she doesn’t know anything about the seriousness of their injuries. «She danced since childhood. So scared that she will Wake up from coma and realize: she lost a leg. It breaks my heart,» said the relative.
The mother of Stephanie, Stacie, also received serious injuries. The girl’s sister Brooke and her stepfather Paul escaped with cuts and bruises.
