The NYPD arrested the guy, beaten with a metal pipe companion in the Manhattan subway

Late in the evening of June 8 at the subway station Chambers Street a young man was attacked with a metal pipe on the 59-year-old companion. A man with a head injury and was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition. Also the victim was seriously damaged eye. This was reported by the police Department of new York (New York City Police Department — NYPD).

Edition Spectrum NY1 News published in Twitter the movie. It can be seen that before the attack among the passengers was a verbal altercation. However, what prompted the guy to use a metal pipe, is not yet known.

NYPD asks for help to the witnesses. The offender, for 20 years, was dressed in a blue Jersey, black shorts, black hat and black sneakers. Police are asking anyone who has any information about the incident, call the hotline at tel: 1-800-577-8477 or go to the NYPD website and to contact the operator.

UPD.: The police reported that 35-year-old attacker managed to hold. According to officers, he attacked the passenger due to the failure to exchange money.

Fortunately, not all the stories in the metro ends so bad: last week’s guardian angel rescued passengers of the new York subway from death, thanks to lightning fast response.
