The police used tear gas during the riots at the freedom March in Portland

Today, August 4, in the Central streets of Portland (Oregon), Tom McCall Waterfront Park, gathered dozens of activists of the far-right organization «Patriotic prayer» and their main opponents – the anti-fascist group Rose City.

The police advance was released for the protesters a warning not to bring on a rally weapon, given the experience of previous demonstrations on 30 June. Then as a result of collision four persons, including a policeman, were in the hospital.

But this did not prevent the demonstrators and concretesteel this time to meet on opposite sides of the Central streets, waving signs and banners to exchange insults.

When members of both groups started marching, police warned the activists to stay away from each other. But the protesters did not heed orders of law enforcement, so officers were forced to use rubber bullets and use tear gas, trying to make aggressive disperse the protesters.
