A fire in a residential building in Brooklyn: 1 person dead, 3 in critical condition

Today, August 17, in the Brooklyn area, crown heights was a fire of the 3rd level of danger. One person was killed and three were seriously injured.

Around 6 a.m. the Fire Department of new York (FDNY) received the message on ignition in a 4-storey building at the address: 291 Buffalo Avenue. According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in the deli on the first floor and quickly spread to apartments above.

Four residents of one of the apartments was trapped in a fire and waited for emergency assistance. They were all taken to the hospital in critical condition. One person did not survive.

As the representative of the FDNY, and another 2 civilians and 4 firefighters suffered airway and having heart problems.

According to the Department of the new York police Department (NYPD), traffic on Eastern Parkway, from Utica Avenue to Rockaway Parkway was blocked in both directions, and Buffalo Avenue was closed between Eastern Parkway and Lincoln Place. In order to avoid traffic police are asking motorists to avoid the area of the fire.

The causes of PE are installed. It is known that in the time of the fire, the deli was closed.
