On the road in new Jersey caught fire passenger bus (video)

Last night at the junction of 495 and 3rd runs between new York and new Jersey caught fire on a passenger bus. Fortunately, no one was hurt, but at the time of extinguishing the fire had blocked the stretch of road between Manhattan and Weehawken, (NJ).

Suburban bus company Peter Pan Bus Lines caught fire near the Lincoln tunnel. Networks have already appeared record the incident. In the video, published by Dennis Crowley, the fire completely engulfed the rear part of the bus where, obviously, and started a fire. Mistakenly the user has specified that the fire broke out on the outskirts of a nearby tunnel — Holand.

«Holy shit, we passed a burning bus, just outside the Holland tunnel. People could not see the rescue seemed only after we drove off. A terrible heat was felt [even] the inside of our bus. Hope that’s all right.»

What was the cause of the fire in the bus, not yet reported.

The incident reminded the authorities about the emergency condition of bridges in the state. The Lincoln tunnel is 80 years old, and the cost of its overhaul of more than $90 million a day on it 495 passing 152 thousand vehicles, including 1.8 thousand buses with 60 thousand passengers. Plan to complete the repairs until 2021, so in the coming years, carriers will have to develop alternative routes from the Big Apple in new Jersey.
