On Friday, August 24, at about 2 PM the employees of the police Department of new York (NYPD) arrived to the Park the Bronx after reports of suspicious packages left on the sidewalk. The contents of the bags were not dangerous, but no less horrifying: there was a dismembered human body.
Police believe the remains belong to the woman, whose identity is not yet established. Employee Crotona Park told detectives that, finding bags, he called his boss. Together they speculated that there might be a dead dog, but I opened the pack, saw the hair and immediately called the police.

On the scene arrived, a search party dog handlers K9 NYPD, which investigated the area for any signs of evidence.
A resident of the district, told WABC that walking their dogs Friday morning, I realized that something was wrong.
«My dogs went to the packages, but one of the Park employees said, «don’t let the dogs to come up, because there comes a smell», — the eyewitness told.

Police did not release the gender or age of the victim, how and what part of the body was found.
The Department of medicolegal investigation of new York will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death of women.
