Leia pierce from Denver (state of Colorado) urging people not to ignore the problem of school bullying, unable to bear that her 9-year-old son Jamel has committed suicide.
The boy committed suicide on August 23 at home. (As the police did not specify). According to mother, the tragedy has led, first of all, the persecution struck the fourth grade, when he told the school that he was gay.
Initially, the child confessed to her mother.
«He looked very frightened when he said, «Mom, I’m gay.» At first, I thought that he was joking. I looked around (because I was driving) and saw him curled up in the backseat. Of course, I said, «Baby, I’ll never stop loving you»,» said the woman.
In the words of Leia Pearce, Jamel decided to open classmates, because he «proud of himself».
«You buy me boyish things, but I would like to dress more feminine,» said Jamel.
And just 4 days after the beginning of the school year the boy did not.

«How much do you need baby? He told my eldest daughter that the kids at school said to him: “Kill yourself”. I’m just sad that he didn’t come to me,» the woman continued.
Leia Pearce hopes that no other parent whose child is different from others will not face similar pain.
