Shooting in the Bank of Cincinnati: 4 dead, including shooter (updated)

Five people were injured and three were shot dead in Fifth Third Bank in downtown Cincinnati (Ohio). According to police, the shooter is also dead.

The city police chief Eliot Isaac said that today, September 6, around 9 am, unknown gunmen opened fire in front of the Bank building. Then the man entered the lobby, where between him and the police started shooting. Within hours, the law enforcers took the situation under control. How exactly killed the gunman: he was shot or he committed suicide — he said.

As reported by WKRC-TV, press Secretary, Kelly Martin University of Cincinnati Medical Center, the hospital was taken 4 victims with gunshot wounds.

According to an eyewitness, he heard from 6 to 12 gunshots and saw 2 dead.

Located in the Fifth Third Bank allowed to leave the building around 11.20.

One of the witnesses, Leonard Kane told the Cincinnati Enquirer that he was going to the Bank when someone warned him that there shooting. But he saw a woman who was using headphones and did not hear warnings. According to the man, she entered the Bank and shot her.

About the shooter and his victims is unknown.

In connection with the investigation of the incident, the traffic in downtown Cincinnati was closed.
