Brooklyn 75-year-old woman was hit by MTA bus

Yesterday evening, 5 September, 75-year-old woman was hit by a bus while crossing the street in the wrong place near Bay Ridge Parkways in the area of Bensonhurst (Brooklyn).

As reported in the police Department of new York (NYPD), the bus driver was just turning from Bay Parkway to Stillwell Avenue and, not noticing the elderly lady hit her. The woman was taken to hospital with a head injury. Doctors assess her condition as critical.

According to police, charges the driver had not been charged.

Recall that in may at the corner of East 184th Street and Webster Avenue in Fordham heights MTA bus was hit by a 7 year old on a motorized scooter. The boy’s parents filed a lawsuit for $10 million against the driver and the company MTA. They stated that the driver was negligent and did not bother to inspect the safety of the intersection.

The NYPD also looking for the attacker, faced passengers on the rails in a subway station Grand Central-42nd Street.
