In new York and charged with 2 murder will appear in court 20-year-old member of the gang MS-13

20-year-old Kevin Lopez-Morales became the fifth accused in the death of Angela Soler from long island, who was hacked to death with machetes.

The body of a teenager was found in October 2017 in a wooded area Roosevelt Preserve under the concrete slab. And at the end of may this year, literally about a mile from the scene of the murder 15-year-old Solera discovered the remains of 19-year-old Jose Amaya Leonora. Investigators believe that these 2 things are linked.

Over the past few months on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Soler was arrested 4 person: Dennis Lopez, David Sosa Guevara, Victor Lopez and Jose Figueroa-Velazquez. The latter, as found by the investigators, also involved with the death of Leonora.

Back in may when they arrested Figueroa-Velazquez, it was believed that the murder Solera was another member of the gang MS-13. According to police, it was a Lopez-Morales. He will appear in court today, September 7, for 2 cases of murder 2nd degree.

During the court hearing, which took place this week in the case of the second of the slain teenager, Jose Leonora district Prosecutor’s office said that the boy belonged to a gang, warring with MS-13. Investigators believe that he was lured into the woods, where «brutally hacked to death with machetes».

In April the gang MS-13 threatened «to take control of the streets» of long island, as in El Salvador. According to Federal prosecutors, MS-13 has thousands of members across the country and over the past 2 years was associated with more than two dozen deaths on long island.
