According to Alexander, the man wandered from one end of the 4-th train going in the southern direction, in the other, and, stepping out of the car, tripped, and the door behind him slammed shut.

As reported by the NYPD, officers arrived at the station 14th Street-Union Square, where at that time there was a man, around 22.30. It urgently was taken to Beth Israel Medical Center, and an hour later, doctors pronounced him dead.

According to police, the victim was from Queens. He was only 33 years old. The man’s name may be released after notification of family.
