A homeless man confessed to the arson of Parking in Brooklyn and spoke about the cause

Yesterday, 18 September, 23-year-old Avon Stevens, the Prime suspect in the arson of a 4-storey Parking of the shopping center Kings Plaza Mall, appeared before the court.

In the course of the hearing of the young man, who called himself homeless, confessed to the crime. According to court documents to set fire to the Parking lot to his prompting that «others used the parked vehicles for having sex».

We will remind, the fire, which was rated the 7th degree, has suffered 21 persons, including 18 firemen, and burned at least 135 cars.

Stevens was recorded by CCTV cameras around 8.15 am just before the security Parking lot noticed the fire. The record shows, as he sits in one of the cars in the garage dealer of Mercedes. Avon Stevens was arrested the evening of 17 September, 8 hours after the fire started. When the detectives were taken of the detainee from the local police station, he apologized for what he did. During the meeting he also apologized to investigators.

The accused will remain in prison without the possibility of bail until the next court session.
