7-year-old boy selling candy on the subway, died in the fall between the cars

In Philadelphia on Sunday (September 23) at 6 PM 7-year-old boy died as a result of falling between subway cars.

According to witnesses, two children and a man was selling candy when one of the boys fell down during the train movement.

«It was scary, everyone was crying, told the dejected, the eyewitness in an interview with Eyewitness News. — As soon as he fell, his brother started to cry, grabbing my hand. It was sad».

As reported by the police, at the time of death the boy was with his 11-year-old brother and 26-year-old man, but not with parents.

«It’s all over the train accident spread their candy, and when he lifted the candy, then went to the door to go to the next car,» he told Eyewitness News Douglas Spencer of West Philadelphia about the last seconds of life.

Shortly after the incident at the place of death, they were his family.

During the investigation of SEPTA (the transit authority for Southeast Pennsylvania) closed the line of Broad Street between Erie and Girard stations, but now the work transaction.

«We work with Philadelphia police and AID,» said Lieutenant Nicole Lawson from the police Department SEPTA.
