On long island derailed train

In traffic on the long Island rail road has failed. The reason for the schedule change — crash.

As reported in the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), around 6 a.m. in the area between Long Island City and Hunterspoint Avenue derailed construction and installation train.

At the time of liquidation of the accident the company offered alternative routes.

So, if you need to get from Jamaica to Hunterspoint Avenue, you can take the route E, or go to Woodside and then take a train that goes at the 7-th route.

The train plying between Port Jefferson and Long Island City is 6.18 touched in 8.07.

Train Port Jefferson — Hunterspoint Avenue, which usually depart at 6.45 and 6.57, depart accordingly at 8.30 and 8.43.

The time of departure of the train from Speonk to Hunterspoint Avenue postponed from 7.12 on 9.11.

LIRR advises customers to sign up for email alerts or text messages to be aware of the updates.

As a result of incident nobody has suffered.

LIRR is the oldest railroad in the United States (1834) and one of the busiest in North America.
