Evans got used to the fact that people stare. Seven years ago he underwent surgery to remove a basal cell carcinoma — one of the types of cancer of the skin.
To save the man’s life, his left eye and the entire nose had to be removed. According to Evans and financially he could not afford reconstructive surgery, also it hurts to wear a patch on his eye because the skin around it is very sensitive.
