The man survived after fell into the pit, breaking his legs and stayed there for two days, killing rattlesnakes

His name is John Waddell, but we think he would be better suited to the name Indiana Jones Waddell.

And all because of this sort of adventures do sound like the script of the next film about Indiana Jones.

Last night, October 17, from abandoned gold mine in the West of Arizona pulled the 62-year-old man. He spent there two days after it fell and broke both legs.

It is unclear why Waddell got in this mine, but we know that he is before going there, reported it to a friend — Terry Schrader.

«He called me on Monday and said he was going into the mine, says Schrader. — We had a deal: if he’s not back on Tuesday, I will go after him.»

Waddell on Tuesday were not returned, but the mine Terry went only the next day, Wednesday, because she was afraid to see what could happen. When Schrader pulled over a truck close to mine, I heard cries for help and immediately called by phone of rescuers.

The depth of the mine is 30 meters. According to Waddell, about halfway down broken carabiner on the rope, so he fell down, breaking both legs. But that’s not all. Slightly recovering himself after a painful shock, the man heard him scurrying around rattlesnakes. He managed with his bare hands to kill three snakes. The victim was constantly calling for help, hoping that someone will hear his cries.

It took hours, but rescuers pulled a 62-year-old father out of a 100-foot gold mine shaft this evening.
He fell on Monday and was trapped for 48 hours before a friend checked on him.

Rescuers took almost six hours to get Waddell from the mine and deliver it to the hospital. Although the man was severely dehydrated and suffered serious fractures to his life now threatens nothing.
