Shooting in the synagogue of Pittsburgh: 11 dead, suspect arrested

Today (27 Oct) around 10 am at the synagogue Tree of Life was a shooting in Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania). This information was confirmed by Deputy Allegheny County Sheriff Kevin Kraus.

Governor of Pennsylvania Tom wolf called the incident an «absolute tragedy».

«My thoughts are now focused on the victims, their families, and that law enforcement officers had all the necessary resources,» said wolf.

Located near Carnegie Mellon University was blocked and students received a message which said that they stay inside.

One of the law enforcement officials told CNN that at least 12 people received gunshot wounds.

Anti-Defamation League called the incident “probably the most deadly attack on the Jewish community in the history of the United States.”
