On long island an elderly man partially amputated his leg after he got into a wood grinder.
According to the police, today, Sunday, may 25 in the morning, 72-year-old Robert Fisher used machine for wood street in West Babylon, when suddenly, his right foot fell into the crusher.
All could have ended even more tragically, but to the cries of the victim ran to his son, who still managed to get his father out of the car and call an ambulance. Fisher was immediately taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.
The surgeons had to amputate part of the leg of the victim. The causes of the incident are established, the crusher confiscated to check its security.
