The family of the security guard of the bar in Illinois, who was shot Sunday, November 11, has filed a lawsuit against the shooting officer and the local police Department.

It all started when Jamel Robertson asked a group of drunken men leaving the bar. According to eyewitnesses, one of the drunken visitors came back with a gun and opened fire. Robertson began to shoot, and even managed to detain one of the attackers, took him outside and put back the gun, saying, «don’t move». Just at that moment the police arrived and, not understanding what was happening, I began to shoot. The guard died of his wounds in the hospital.
As told friends Jamela Robertson, he had planned to become a police officer. In addition, he was a musician — played keyboards in several churches of Chicago.
