Major accident occurred this afternoon in the southern part of Mississippi, near the border with Tennessee.
Tourist bus got in an accident because of ice on the road, resulting in 44 people injured, and 2 passengers were killed. The tragic incident happened at the intersection of Interstate highways Interstate 269 and 22.

According to available information, the bus was carrying 50 people. South of Memphis (Tennessee) the driver lost control, causing the transport turned over. Many of the passengers are in serious condition, three people are in critical, two more people were reported dead.

Due to the large number of injured passengers were spread out across several hospitals: 19 people were sent to Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto, 18 tourists were in Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. The remaining 7 passengers were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville.
Now the police are investigating all the circumstances of the deadly crash. In particular, the police are going to find out, to observe whether the driver of the speed limit.
