The bride and groom tragically crashed on the way to his wedding

14 Nov Shurtz Catherine and Joseph Kearney was driving on interstate 78 in the direction of Windsor (PA). The young people were headed for his own wedding, which was to be held in the hometown of the groom, of Pittsburgh.

Because of the accident, which occurred the day before, the traffic on the freeway was intense on all bands. According to police, at about 15.30, the driver of the truck lost control and crashed into the car of the pair. The impact triggered a chain reaction involving 3 trucks. The accident machine, Sorts and Kearney and 2 trucks caught fire. Three people were injured, and the bride and groom died on the spot.

According to the obituary, Catherine was born Shurtz in Elizabeth (new Jersey). He graduated from Union Catholic High School in Scotch Plains, then received a bachelor’s degree at the George Washington University. Recently lived in Jersey city- led partnership platforms for Oracle Data Cloud in new York.

The mother of the deceased at the time was on the Board of the city of Fanwood. After the death of Catherine Council page in Facebook appeared the following statement:

«We mourn together with the former adviser to Fanwood Karen Shurtz who lost a daughter and future son-in-law in a car accident [occurred] last week on the way to their wedding… thanks for your condolences.»

According to relatives, Catherine was a passionate knigomania, loved to cook and was always ready for another adventure with her fiancé.

«Last Thursday, our lives are forever changed. Our nephew Joseph Kearney and his beautiful bride Kate Shurtz died in a car accident on the way home, where that day was to be held their wedding, wrote on Facebook Mary Kay Hanl.
