Law enforcement authorities in new York said of the accident that occurred in Lower Manhattan. The car drove into a group of pedestrians, causing 6 people received injuries of varying severity, and another victim died. Behind the wheel was a 70-year-old man.

However, the police excludes the version of the attack, and assured that the driver had run unintentionally. According to preliminary data, the driver was a man 70 years of age. Eyewitnesses claim he lost control of the vehicle, and leaping a curb, rammed a group of pedestrians.

The injured was immediately taken to the nearest health facility teams FDNY. Unfortunately, one of the victims died at the scene of the incident. Among the other injured 2 people are in critical condition, 2 in serious. Other people received minor injuries and refused hospitalization.
