A US Federal court has officially brought charges against six citizens of Russia and two Kazakhs, who are suspected of involvement in a massive cybercrime. Prosecutors believe that the fraud colluded, to defraud clients in the field of digital advertising.

According to information provided by the Ministry of justice, the suspects were engaged in large-scale network fraud using advanced technologies. The charge consists of 13 items and for the following people:

  • Sergey Ovsyannikov;
  • Alexander Isayev;
  • Evgeny Timchenko;

These automated programs have helped criminals to mislead a large number of companies who have ordered from scams advertising services and feel you have paid for quality content with a large number of hits. Instead, clients receive multimillion-dollar losses.

The attackers were able to calculate the joint efforts of the police Department of new York (NYPD), Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI) and the U.S. Department of justice (US Department of Justice). The investigators reported that some of the criminals are already under arrest.

We are talking about Sergey Ovsyannikov, delayed in Malaysia. Alexander Zhukov, who was arrested in Bulgaria, and Eugene Timchenko, caught in Estonia. Now law enforcement authorities are preparing to extradite criminals to the United States of America.

As for the other suspects, in their relation of correspondence put forward by the prosecution. The US government will demand an immediate arrest of criminals, wherever they were.
