A fire in a residential building in Brooklyn: killed 2 girls

Late on Saturday evening, December 8, 165 Schaefer Street in Bushwick (Brooklyn) the fire broke out.

The fire was burning on the 2nd floor of a 3 storey residential building, rapidly spreading through the premises. Flames burst from the Windows, searching for new food.

The fire could be extinguished only in the morning.

In the bedroom one of the apartments of employees of the FDNY found 2 girls 7 and 8 years, the children tried to escape from the fire. In critical condition babies were taken to Wyckoff Hospital, but doctors were unable to help them. The exact cause of death of girls will establish the forensic examination.

From the burned building was also delivered 53-year-old man, who required hospitalization. He is now under medical observation and in stable condition. 2 more people escaped with minor injuries.
