Childbirth in the new York subway: a newborn baby survived

Expectant mothers should carefully monitor their condition, especially in the last weeks and days prior to an hour IKS. So, on Saturday, 15 December, 36-year-old resident of new York, feeling that the birth is about to begin, decided to go to the hospital on their own — on the subway. However, the child was born before she got to the hospital.

The boy was born at 15.40 in the train J, travelling in a northerly direction (Lower Manhattan), on the way to Chambers Street. But soon he was having heart problems.

Police and paramedics promptly arrived at the scene emergency childbirth to assist the woman and the child needed help. Urgently taken to the nearest hospital. But, unfortunately, doctors were unable to save the baby.

The mother is now in a serious but stable condition.
