The 911 dispatcher on the phone helped the mother to save the life of one-year-old son

Of course, 911 dispatchers are trained to remain calm and act quickly in any situation. But certainly not everyone is able to clearly explain the panicked mother how to save the employee’s child, when seconds count.

The story took place in Florida at Christmas, and a happy ending. But in this day in orange County almost happened irreparable…

December 25, 911 received a call. The weeping woman (her name withheld) told the dispatcher that her infant son, proshmygnet in the open back door of the house, went straight to the pool and fell. The mother immediately rushed for the child, but he had already swallow the water.

Just a few tens of seconds, the 911 dispatcher was able to bring in a sense of a terrified mother and explain to her how to do baby CPR. The cries ran and a neighbour who also helped in rescuing the child. A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived and took the boy to the hospital.

Fellow 911 operator, Sarah, Alicia, said that her colleague just did his job.

«We have 60 seconds, when we answer the call to get the address, check the phone number and find out the main information. This is what we prepare, and that already at the level of instincts,» explained Sarah alisha.

Now the baby is still in the ICU, but next week the family hopes to take him home. The boy’s life is out of danger.
