Personal angel: 20 minutes the 911 dispatcher told the girl in a sinking car until help came

Yesterday, January 3, 20-year-old Amanda Nicole Antonio of Florida are unable to hold back the tears when meeting with people, whom it described as his «personal angels.» They saved Amanda’s life.

January 1 night, the girl was returning home from a Christmas party. She was driving East on Interstate 4 when another car it «clipped». The girl lost control and the car went off the road, overturned and fell into a deep ditchfilled with water. Just that night the area was enveloped in a thick fog, and to see Amanda’s car off the highway was almost impossible.

Recovering, the girl was surprised to find that it got wet the phone is still working, and then dialed 911. The call said the Manager Cheyenn Allen.

«I had an accident. My car turned over, it is filled with water, and I can’t leave,» said Amanda surprisingly calm voice.

The Manager found out her location and sent a Deputy Sheriff to the scene when Amanda said that freezes:

«I don’t know how long the phone will last. Water I have on the chest, please hurry».

That though as-that to distract the girl, Sheyann began to ask her different questions. So she learned that four days later, Amanda turns 21: «Worried about this important date?».

«Well… not now,» replied Amanda, without losing a sense of humor.

Once composure failed her when the water came to her chin, and she cried. «Less than 5% charging of phone. Please, please, please, help me,» asked Amanda.

And then she heard voices outside assistance arrived. Twenty terrible minutes passed since then, as she called 911. Assistants to the Sheriff of the County of Hillsborough Jeremy and Chris Pallace jumped into the water and managed to free the girl.

Two days later, on 3 January, Amanda was found as the saviors, and with the 911 dispatcher. The police said that Amanda can only be praised for ability to remain calm in such a situation. «Its merit in their own salvation — is the same as ours,» said a Deputy.
