On the border with Texas discovered the remains of 20 victims of the war between drug cartels

On 10 January near the border town of Miguel Aleman (Tamaulipas, Mexico) was discovered 7 burned-out cars and the remains of 20 people.

Miguel Aleman is located approximately 80 km West of McAllen (TX). This Thursday the city was to visit President Donald trump as part of its campaign for the construction of a wall along the border with Mexico.

The President of Mexico, andrés Manuel lópez Obrador said that the killings seem to be the consequences of the war between the two cartels. At the moment police are investigating the incident, details are not reported.

The state of Tamaulipas is one of the main channels for the delivery of drugs in the country. The Mexican war on the cartels has brought him notoriety as one of the epicentres of massacres and clashes between groups.
