34-year-old man killed his parents, not wanting to move out of the house and then committed suicide

A family tragedy took place on the 23900 Southheast 42nd Place Issaquah, near the Sammamish (WA). Not wishing to look for my own housing, 34-year-old Matthew Ficken shot parents, 5 days and lived in the house with their dead bodies, and when at his home the police showed up — took his own life by suicide.

As reported on Thursday, January 17, king County coroner, 68-year-old Lorraine of Ficken and her ex-husband, 72-year-old Robert Ficken, died from gunshot wounds on January 10. Their son shot himself in the head from the same shotgun.

On Tuesday, January 15, a relative living in Oregon, called the police of Sammamish with a request to check whether all is in order Fitnow that has stopped communicating. Police received a search warrant, entered the house and found inside 3 body.

As stated in the official conclusion, Matthew Ficken «a few days living in the house after killing parents» and committed suicide at the moment when the officers tried to enter the house.

Lorraine of Piken since 1992, successfully worked as a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker Bain in issaquah. Robert Picenum they divorced almost 10 years ago, but remained on friendly terms and continued to live under the same roof. In 2018, the woman decided to retire and move to Oregon. In July, she bought a house in Sherwood, near the house of his elder sister.

Lorraine was very close with her sisters and build with them. «Never met the sisters who would be so close. They cared about each other, says her brother-in-law John mance. Is a real sisterly relationship, I’ve never seen anything like it».

Former husband of Lorraine of Piken — Robert, according to his classmate Charles Levorna was «gifted historian» and received his doctorate at the University of Washington. The centenary of state friends have released a co-authored book «Washington: a centennial history.»

Matthew Ficken worked at Microsoft on a remote basis and led a reclusive lifestyle.
