Flight Newark — Hong Kong, urgently landed in Canada, released 12 hours and then sent back

United Airlines flight 179 flew from Newark to Hong Kong on January 19 at about 15:00. But in the midst of the flight there was an emergency — one of the passengers began epileptic seizures. The plane was forced to land at the base of the canadian forces goose Bay.

250 passengers and 15 crew members held on Board all night. Among them were several children.

Sunday, January 20, at about 5 a.m., representatives of the airline reported that a rescue plane had not yet left the airport. By this time the passengers were on Board for 14 hours.

Another United Airlines plane arrived from Newark only to 14:00, to pick up passengers and bring them back. According to Lau, in General, all were calm, but was disappointed and angry.

Dutt wrote on Twitter that he decided to return home to Virginia because he had no time to get to Macau. However, his flight from Newark to Virginia was also postponed due to a snow storm that covered the part of the United States.
