The family of a woman seriously injured in crash on interstate 294 in Illinois last week, thanked the good Samaritan who came to her aid.
A Chicago resident Frank Visconti was driving along with his friend to the hospital to donate blood when on the highway near Willow Road literally feet from them flying the wreckage of the car, and the traffic on the highway rose.
As it turned out, there was a terrible accident: «Toyota» at the wheel which was Kim Huguelet, crashed into a truck. The car is almost crushed, and the woman was trapped in the cabin. People approached her, decided that she died.

«But then she opened her eyes,» recalls Frank Visconti.
Many years ago man was a voluntary fireman and tried to recall all methods of first aid.
«I barely got in the car and started to pull down women, part of the broken dashboard — says the man. Her head was covered in blood, so at first I tried to stop the bleeding and talked to the victim, so she won’t lose consciousness.»
He was with Kim prior to the arrival of helicopter rescue, and now regularly visits a woman at the hospital and promises to give her a big party when she gets well.
«I don’t think I’m a hero. It was so scary… She was alone, and all around just stood there. I had to help her».
Kim Huguelet have a long treatment, she has already had several operations. The woman’s family wants to draw attention to the «dedication and devotion» Frank Visconti, who «has become so rare in our time.»
