This story happened over the weekend in Maine.
The guy (his name is not disclosed because the prosecution ultimately was not nominated) twenty fairly drank in old port, then called a cab Lyftto get to his home in Falmouth. That’s just by mistake he got into another taxi, which also was called to the bar, where there was a young man. This machine brought the passengers to Falmouth, and Cape Elizabeth.
Coming on the unfamiliar street, the guy nonetheless was quite convinced that he came to his native town, and tried to open the door, the door of the garage. Of course, to no avail.
Hearing the noise, the owner of the house looked out the window and saw a «cracker», so immediately called the police.
«The detainee was in a state of alcoholic intoxication and believed that is located in Falmouth, told officer Benjamin Davis. We were able to learn that he came from the old port, the car was in an unconscious state».
Officers took the boy to the police station to sober up. After some time they agreed with another taxi to Falmouth «Eugene Lukashin» still hit home. He will not be charged.
«The landlord only laughed and said that he had no claims, — said the chief of police Cape Elizabeth Paul Fenton. — When the guy realized what happened, I was very embarrassed and sincerely apologized».
