«It’s like, it’s like being eaten alive.»
So, after a few weeks of treatment in the hospital, a resident of North Carolina Dontre Davis described the attack pit bulls, with whom he lived.
«I tried to tear their mouths from his face. Then I didn’t even feel that I have no ears – until then, until I woke up in the hospital,» Davies told the channel WSOC-TV.
Dontre Davis helped the roommate to bring a couple pit bulls — snow and smoke with since they were puppies.
On that fateful day, Davis was home alone and went to help one of the puppies dog couple – the tooth of a puppy stuck in a cage.
«The puppy whined in pain, it’s probably provoked snow and smoke to attack, said the victim. – They just jumped up and grabbed my face. I got rid of one dog but the other kept a firm grip. I fell to the floor and tried to squeeze them. Snow, a female, was less aggressive, I told her, well, girl, all right, and she seems to have calmed down, but smoak struck again, and snow followed suit. After a while I could no longer resist.»
According to Davis, the attack dogs lasted about 20-25 minutes.
«I didn’t feel anything but pain. Lost a lot of blood. I shouted: I die! Help!».
Fortunately, the cries Dontre Davis heard neighbors and called the police and an ambulance. Few weeks the man was in the hospital, also he will need plastic surgery.
And although the dogs had to be shot because they showed aggression by police, Davis never blames snow and smoke.
«They thought that I hurt their puppy,» said the man.
