The suspect who shot 5 people in Louisiana, arrested

On Saturday, January 26, 21-year-old Dakota, Theriot killed 3 people in Livingston parish (La), and then went to his parents ‘ house in a neighbouring parish and shot there mother and father. Police announced a criminal in the wanted list.

Today it became known that of the Dakotas, Theriot was arrested in Virginia, in the County of Richmond.

At the official press conference, the sheriffs of the parishes Esense and Livingston said that Theriot will be delivered in Asense, where he will stand trial for murder in the 1st degree, unlawful home invasion and unlawful use of firearms.

Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard and Ascension Parish Sheriff Bobby Webre say Dakota Theriot, who’s accused of killing 5 Saturday morning, is still on the run, armed and dangerous, and they don’t know where he is.

The first scene

Yesterday, the Livingston Sheriff Jason ARD reported that Dakota Theriot was in a relationship with one of his victims — 20-year-old summer Ernest. He killed his girlfriend and her 17-year-old brother, Tanner, 43-year-old Billy’s dad Ernest.

The young man lived for several weeks with the family, summer at the house on Courtney Road, North of Walker. However, the other day he pointed to the door. The details of the conflict are unknown, but the police assume that the shooting started after a quarrel between a guy and a girl.

In the house were 2 children — 7 years and 1 year. They were not injured. Coming to the neighbors, the children spoke about what happened at their house. The neighbors immediately called the police. Now the kids are with their mother.

As it turned out, Theriot took the car Ernesto and went to her parents.

The second scene

50-year-old Elizabeth and Keith Theriot lived on Church Point Road, near Gonzales. Their son entered the house and shot both parents. When the police arrived at the scene, the father was still alive and told the police who the murderer is.
