In Huntington beach pickup truck crashed into a light pole and a jeep — in a house: there are victims

Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving 2 cars on the corner of Edwards Street and Warner Avenue in Huntington beach (CA).

The pickup truck overturned and knocked down a light pole and the jeep crashed into a house. The fallen pillar damaged power lines, and the whole area remained without electricity.

Witnesses reported the accident on Saturday, January 26, at about 17: 30.

Two people were trapped in the overturned truck. Before you pick a lamppost, firefighters waited until the company Southern California Edison confirmed that lines are de-energized. Rescuers cut off the roof of a pickup truck and pulled the victims from the salon.

The witness of the accident Barbara Anderson in the evening walking their dogs. He heard the sound of the collision, and then saw everywhere sparks from torn wires and a jeep that was flying right at her. Fortunately, the woman managed to leap aside. The car passed between her and the dog, snatching at the mistress from the hands of the leash. In the end, the SUV struck the wall at home.

According to another witness of the accident — 87-year-old Omar Espinoza, at the time of the accident he was at home in the living room. Suddenly the man heard a very loud noise and felt the shaking. The man couldn’t enter the bedroom because, breaking the wall, there drove an SUV. Firefighters pulled the driver from the wreckage in the apartment Espinoza. The pensioner will have to live with relatives until his house was put in order.

Drivers urged to avoid the scene of the accident before the firemen clearing the street. Other victims in the accident was not.
