Tied and robbed: a repeat offender with a knife broke into the apartment in Manhattan

In new York arrested a man yesterday afternoon, January 31, broke into the apartment in Manhattan, tied up the owners and robbed them.

According to police, the incident occurred in the house on West 78th Street between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive.

Arrested — 30-year-old Daniel Molokan, without a certain residence. He broke down the door to the apartment, threatening with a knife, tied up the couple and their daughter and kept them in different rooms while looking for money. He only took about $100 cash, a few tens of euros and pesos, and credit cards. Found him on the same day — without delay.

The police Molokan behaved aggressively, violently resisting the officers, one even spat. Several police officers received minor injuries.

The man will be charged with several charges: robbery, burglary, hold people against their will, the possession of weapons and burglary tools, resisting arrest.

This is not the first crime Molokana. His 12 (!) times was arrested for burglary and robbery and sent to prison. Last time he was on PAROLE, which was supposed to be until 2020.
