On Wednesday around 18:30 the police officers of the 75th precinct were forced to shoot a man who suddenly has a weapon at them. The man received three bullets, he was shot in the leg, stomach and arm.
Three of the police officers noticed a strange moving the car and asked the driver to stop, but he ignored their demands. When 42-year-old man still stayed near the Van Siclen Avenue New Lots Avenue and got out of his Toyota Camry, he suddenly pulled out a firearm and pointed it at one of the police officers.
The police had to use weapons. Two officers shot him three times. When the shots rang out, people in the vicinity, hastened to hide.
«I was sitting here when suddenly I heard four or five shots. We started to hide under the chairs and countertops», — told reporters the New York Post, the 48-year Oneil ward, who was in a nearby barbershop.
«After the shots stopped, I saw a guy lying on the ground. He didn’t move, but I didn’t know whether he is dead or not,» added ward.

The suspect was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition. The officers were not injured, but as a precaution, was sent to Kings County Hospital.
