The security officer of police Department of Los Angeles (LAPD) 44-year-old Victor Glukhovsky was arrested and charged with the murder of 40-year-old wife Natalia and 13-year-old son Alexander.
The day after Christmas — 26 Dec 2018 — Glukhovskiy called 911 and reported that he came home to find his wife and son dead. At 23:50 LAPD officers arrived at the apartment complex in van NUYS at: 13843 Oxnard St., which also found the bodies of two victims with gunshot wounds from a shotgun.
Then the police told CBS2 that they are investigating the case as a double homicide. According to LAPD, the man cooperated with detectives and is not considered a suspect. Neighbors also said he had not heard anything unusual that night.
The investigation, which lasted more than a month, February 1, Glukhovsky was arrested by LAPD detectives. It filed two charges with negatively circumstances, since, according to the prosecutors, he committed the murder in order to benefit financially. If Glukhov is found guilty, he faces a maximum term of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole. Prosecutors have not yet decided whether they will seek the death penalty for men. Glukhovsky is under bail of $2 million.
