The prisoners broke into the car to rescue trapped baby

On February 14 in new Port Richey (FL) the prisoners broke into the car — but not to Rob. The police resorted to the specific skills of their wards, to rescue from locked cars one-year-old girl and return unharmed to the forgetful father.

The girl was locked away in a Chevrolet Tahoe in the Parking lot near West Pasco Judicial Center. Father locked daughter in the car seat in the back seat and closed the door. But it turned out that in this way he blocked the car, keys left in the car.

Concerned father and mother, and gathered around the SUV passersby attracted the attention of police, who watched over 5 prisoners, carrying out road works nearby. By accident one of the witnesses in the car were found a metal hanger — the prisoner took only a few minutes to open locked cars.

«[We] were surprised when someone found a wire clothes hanger. [With it] we could press the door enough to unlock the car» — said Richard Stenger from the County Sheriff’s office Pasco.

The girl’s mother took the incident on the phone and posted the story of the rescue on Facebook.

«Our wards are people who made a mistake, and we try to rehabilitate them to return to society, — commented the Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco. Most, like the prisoners know what was wrong, made the wrong choice, and want to do the right thing».
