Today, June 28, around 9 a.m. the first train station on 125th Street in Harlem after yesterday’s derailment of two wagons.
Yesterday two train subway derailed in the tunnel there was a power cut, started to smoke. People evacuated on the tracks at the next station. The incident resulted in injuries to 34 people, fortunately, they were all harmless.
According to preliminary information from the MTA, the crash was caused by «human error»and not technical malfunction ways. On the eve before the incident on the tracks repair work was carried out, after which spares the rails were loose.
In AIT said travel crawlers now check «every inch» rails in the subway, it is not repeated.
The sources Daily News reported that two workers on service roads excluded from work today, Wednesday. They replaced the rails on Monday night, near the site of the subsequent crash.
Formal charges are not proposed, the investigation continues.
