An angry mother of a 13-year-old schoolgirl slashed 14-year-old student with a razor in the face after she slapped her daughter.
The incident occurred March 5 at about 14:30 near public school 96 in East Harlem at E. 120th St.
Between the teenagers had a quarrel. In the midst of the altercation, the older girl pulled out a Taser and used it against the younger. At this point, the 49-year-old victim’s mother pulled out a razor and slashed the attacking razor on the face.
According to witnesses, the mother fled the scene, but later returned to school and was arrested. She was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon in the actions, to the detriment of the child.

Schoolgirl with «minor cuts» were taken to the district hospital where she is in stable condition. She was also arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and assault.
«New York city police and ambulance immediately responded to the incident, which occurred outside the building after school, — said the press Secretary of the Ministry of education Miranda Barbot. We will work closely with the NYPD at the time as they conduct a thorough investigation and provide additional safety and Advisory support for the school.»
